We are pleased to announce that registration is open for the 18th annual EMBL PhD symposium "Life by Numbers: Towards Quantitative Biology”. We would like to invite PhD students from a broad range of scientific disciplines to join us at the EMBL in Heidelberg, Germany on the 17th-19th of November 2016.

Abstract submission deadline: August 25th
The aim of this conference is to highlight recent advances and applications of quantitative research. At the core of this idea stands an interdisciplinary approach, which is also an integral part of the research here at EMBL. The symposium will consider quantification across multiple scales of biology, ranging from the sub-cellular to the multi-cellular level.
